Here are some tips for feeding your family.

  • Try to have just three dinner ideas in mind while grocery shopping. If you make enough of each to have leftovers, six meals are covered with three menu ideas. Even two ideas can save you from suffering the "what should I make for dinner tonight?" dilemma. Planning any meal in advance will save you time and money at the grocery store.
  •
  • Cook twice the beef you need, and save back half. Tonight’s spaghetti will use half the ground beef you browned, and tomorrow’s tacos will use the other half.
  •
  • Out of ideas? Pick up a package of Meadowland Farms™ ground beef anyway. Like bread, milk and eggs, ground beef is a staple that will, if you have a package on hand, inspire you to make something.
  •
  • If you’ve got the main ingredients, Meadowland Farms ground beef and the pasta, rice or other essential ingredients, but you don’t have everything called for in a recipe, get creative and make it work. Vegetables can be switched out, and other ingredients can be substituted to make a recipe work.
